Whether you have been a Prayer Minister for decades or are newly certified with a few hours under your belt, it doesn’t take much to find out that helping others find growth and healing in Christ can be challenging.  It is important for your clients that you know how to identify complex trauma and the nuances in ministering to those affected by it. This 16-week course, you will learn those skills and so much more.

The focus of this course will be aimed at supporting and educating counselors, pastors, life coaches, and prayer ministers.  In addition, any Community Caregivers are welcome to attend. We define Community Caregivers as: counselors, pastors, prayer ministers, social workers, school teachers, medical personnel, and first responders.

BIO:
Melissa Finger is the founder and executive director of the Trauma Healing Center in Kansas City. In addition, she has worked as a biblical counselor for more than a decade assisting clients both locally and internationally as they heal from complex trauma. Melissa has a masters degree in Marriage and Family Counseling, has written three books on healing from trauma, and has spoken at dozens of events and workshops across the country. Her heart is to share God’s perspective of trauma and His plan of healing for every individual!
