Session 1 – How Spiritual Warfare Works – Marcus Warner
Overview: Spiritual Warfare is all about activity in a realm we cannot see. It has been called “the invisible war” and “the unseen realm.” It can make it hard to know what is really going on in that realm. In this opening session, Marcus will introduce some of the background information from the Ancient Near East and Intertestamental literature that help to inform our understanding of the spiritual world. He will also explain the difference between several different categories of spiritual warfare with a special focus on the relationship between Christians and demons. The goal is to help you understand the worldview foundations of spiritual warfare that help to inform the practices we teach related to permission and authority.
In this session you will:
- Learn key elements of the ancient near east worldview and how a biblical worldview corrects it.
- Distinguish between several core categories of spiritual warfare ministry.
- Clarify the essential principles and foundations of spiritual warfare ministry.
Session 2 – Biblical Foundations of Spiritual Warfare – Karl Payne
Overview: This session will provide a straightforward, biblically grounded framework for understanding spiritual warfare. Within the Christian world, there is often confusion and polarization around this topic. Some see spiritual warfare behind nearly every difficulty in life, while others dismiss it as outdated, exaggerated, or only relevant in cross-cultural contexts. Karl will address those extremes by offering a clear and balanced biblical perspective. We will explore what the Bible actually teaches about spiritual warfare, how it fits within a Christian worldview, and how believers can think about it wisely and responsibly. The aim is not sensationalism or dismissal, but to help participants develop a sound, biblical understanding that informs faithful and practical Christian living.

- Five common reasons offered by those who choose to avoid or trivialize the subject of spiritual warfare.
- Two popular paradigms often used by people attempting to explain spiritual warfare.
- A contextual understanding of numerous Bible verses in the New Testament dealing directly or indirectly with spiritual warfare.
- Common questions or popular cliches often voiced or assumed to be true in discussions on the topic of spiritual warfare.
Session 3 – Drama Free Deliverance – Dan Allison
Overview: Spiritual freedom doesn’t require a spectacle; it requires a strategy. Join Dan as he reveals the specific flow of a “No Drama Deliverance” session. This session provides a “behind-the-scenes” look at the preparation, the ground rules, and the conversational pattern used to check for areas of demonization like occult involvement, generational iniquity, and unforgiveness, sin and trauma.
In this session you will learn:
- The specific five-part framework to help participants cancel demonic legal ground and walk forward in the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
- How no drama deliverance fits into the discipleship journey.
