Terms of Use

Website Terms

1. Account Ownership and Responsibilities

1.1. Account Owner:

  • The member who created the account and whose Payment Method is charged (the “Account Owner”) has access and control over the account.
  • The Account Owner is responsible for any activity that occurs through the account.

1.2. Control Over Devices:

  • To maintain control over the account and prevent unauthorized access (including viewing history), the Account Owner should maintain control over the devices used to access the service.
  • The Account Owner should not reveal the password or details of the Payment Method associated with the account to anyone.

1.3. Information Accuracy:

  • You are responsible for updating and maintaining accurate and true  information related to your account.

2. Account Security Measures

  • We reserve the right to terminate your account or place it on hold to protect you, Deeper Walk, or our partners from identity theft or other fraudulent activity.
  • Deeper Walk is not obligated to credit or discount a membership for holds placed on the account by representatives of Deeper Walk or automated processes of the Streaming Service.

1. Disclaimer

The online conferences, courses, and streaming service, along with all content and software associated therewith, or any other features or functionalities associated with these online resources, are provided “as is” and “as available” with all faults and without warranty of any kind. Deeper Walk International does not guarantee, represent, or warrant that your use of the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Deeper Walk International specifically disclaims liability for the use of applications, your devices, and the service software (including their continuing compatibility with our service).

2. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permissible under applicable laws, in no event shall Deeper Walk International, its subsidiaries, or any of their directors, officers, employees, or licensors be liable (jointly or severally) to you for personal injury or any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages of any kind, or any damages whatsoever.

3. Legal Rights

Nothing in these terms of use shall affect any non-waivable statutory rights that apply to you.

Online Conferences & Courses

1. Limited-Time Ownership & Access

When you purchase an Online Conference or Course, you now “own” streaming access to that resource as long as it is available on our Conference or Course pages. To view these videos, you’ll need a device capable of playing digital videos (such as most smartphones, tablets, and computers) and a stable internet connection.

2. Length of Ownership

Online conferences and courses typically remain on the Deeper Walk website for at least 1.5-2 years from the time of recording, and often longer. During this period, you’ll have convenient access to view them by logging into your Deeper Walk account.

3. Expiring Resources

Eventually, as courses are revised and recorded live again (or for other reasons), some older courses may be moved from the Conferences or Courses pages to the Streaming Service. At that time, only those with a Streaming Service (see below) monthly subscription will have access to these courses.

Payment Options:

  • Most online conferences and courses require a one-time online payment for digital access.
  • Some courses may offer a payment plan option involving multiple payments.
  • If you choose a payment plan, you agree to be billed monthly for the specified number of payments (e.g., a $199 course may be offered as a one-time payment of $199 or in two payments of $109 each, with the second payment due 30 days later).
  • Once the payment(s) for the course are complete, no further monthly payments are due.

Coupons:

  • Deeper Walk may offer coupons for use with online products at its discretion.
  • Coupons may expire and are subject to revocation by Deeper Walk.

Refunds:

  • Payments are generally nonrefundable.

      • Payment Methods: You’ll need to provide one or more valid Payment Methods. These may include payment through your account with a third party.

  • Charges occur on the calendar day corresponding to the start of the paying portion of your membership.
  • Membership fees are fully earned upon payment.
  • Note that your payment date may change—for instance, if your Payment Method fails to settle or if your paid membership began on a day not within a given month.

  • To use the service, you must provide one or more Payment Methods.
  • You can update your Payment Methods by visiting the “Account” page.
  • We may also update your Payment Methods using information provided by payment service providers.

  • No refunds or credits are provided for partial-month membership periods or unwatched content.
  • To cancel, follow the instructions on your Account page.

  • We reserve the right to adjust subscription plans or pricing for our service. Any changes will take effect following notice to you.

No Refunds:

  • Payments are nonrefundable.

  • These resources serve as an alternative to attending the meeting in person.
  • Payments are nonrefundable.
  • We may provide refunds, discounts, or other considerations at our discretion, but this doesn’t guarantee future credits.

Scope of Services: You understand and agree that Deeper Dives and other online courses offered by Deeper Walk International do not offer, provide, or promise counseling services. These courses are designed for educational and spiritual growth purposes, not as a substitute for professional counseling.

Facilitators’ Role: Online group or course facilitators, including but not limited to Deeper Walk Staff Members, may not offer or provide counseling services to group members inside or outside group meetings unless they do so under their own separate ministry or counseling license. In such cases, any counseling services offered independently by facilitators are not the responsibility of Deeper Walk International.

We undertake no obligation to update or clarify information in the Service or on related websites, except as required by law. SECTION 12 – PROHIBITED USES

In addition to other prohibitions set forth in the Terms of Service, you are prohibited from using the site or its content for any of the following purposes:

  • Any unlawful purpose.

SECTION 15 – SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. The unenforceable portion shall be deemed severed from these Terms of Service, and such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.

SECTION 16 – TERMINATION

The obligations and liabilities incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes. These Terms of Service remain effective unless terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms of Service at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use our Services or when you cease using our site. If we suspect a failure to comply with these Terms of Service, we may terminate this agreement at any time without notice. You will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination, and we may deny you access to our Services.

SECTION 17 – ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms of Service, along with any policies or operating rules posted by us on this site or in respect to the Service, constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us. They supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us (including any prior versions of the Terms of Service). Any ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms of Service shall not be construed against the drafting party.

SECTION 18 – GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Indiana.
