Walk in the Spirit!

The Bible makes stunning claims about us being the very dwelling place of God. Jesus told His disciples that it was better that He was going away, since He would send the Holy Spirit to guide us, comfort us, and live within us (see John 16). Scripture tells us to walk by the Spirit (Gal. 5:16), to be led by the Spirit (Rom. 8:14), to keep in step with the Spirit (Gal. 5:25), and more.

Session 1 – Learning to Walk in the Spirit – Marcus Warner

Overview: Do you ever find it difficult to connect with God? If God is living inside of you, doesn’t it seem like it should be easy to connect with Him? The good news is, there are things you can do to grow connection with God and making walking in the Spirit a more (supernaturally) natural part of your life.

In this session you’ll learn:

  • The 3 elements of living in the flesh
  • The essence of the crucified life
  • The core practices of walking in the Spirit

Session 2 – Discernment & Decisions: Learning to Hear God’s Voice for Critical Direction – Dawn Whitestone

Overview: In the Bible, we read how individuals such as King David and the Apostle Paul followed God’s guidance in their decision-making. Wouldn’t it be amazing if God provided us with His perspective on the important decisions we face? After all, God’s understanding is far more complete than ours, and He knows the present and future better than anyone. Listening to Him is a key method for gaining wisdom on important decisions and directions in our lives.

In this session you will:

  • Explore biblical examples of following God’s direction.
  • Learn how listening prayer can help us discern God’s guidance today.
  • Discover how to incorporate listening prayer as one of several essential tools for making decisions.

Session 3 – Walking with God: Delighting in Obedience and Friendship with Jesus – Asheritah Ciuciu

Overview: In a world that often associates obedience with duty or drudgery, what if walking in step with the Spirit was actually about deep joy and intimate friendship with Jesus? In this session, Asheritah Ciuciu invites you to rediscover the beauty of obedience—not as a heavy burden, but as a daily rhythm of walking with the One who loves you most. With personal stories, biblical insight, and practical rhythms, you’ll be equipped to step into the yoke with Jesus and experience the restful, joyful pace of life with Him.

Marcus Warner has served as president of Deeper Walk International since 2006. Marcus earned three degrees from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School – M.Div., Th.M. Old Testament, and D.Min. He has written numerous books including his most recent title, Breakthrough! 5 Essential Strategies for Freedom, Healing, & Wholeness. An in-demand speaker, Marcus has spoken for both ministry and corporate groups across the country and around the world. A Bible teacher at heart, Marcus has taught Old Testament and Theology at the junior high, high school, college, and seminary levels. His passion is taking complex topics and making them practical and accessible for everyone.

Dawn Whitestone (MA, LMHC) serves as the Director of the Deeper Walk School of Ministry. She is also the Founding Partner & Chief Growth Catalyst at WhiteStone Professionals. Her passion is growing people and organizations into their full potential.

Dawn has served as an executive coach, strategic planner, and training designer. Her unique approach to following God’s purposes and plans is captured in the book Strategic Business Prayer and its companion workbook.

Dawn’s zest for joyful living is rooted in a strong family, vibrant faith, and familiarity with suffering. Her personal experiences with divorce, grief, and family illness give her a compassion that undergirds her love for life and passion for people. Nik has an Masters in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary and helped plant a church and new college ministry in Seattle, where he served in pastoral ministry for 16 years. Nik currently resides in Northern California with his wife, Kristy, and four children. Nik’s passion is helping people grow in emotional, relational, and spiritual health.
