Jim shares from extensive counseling ministry how the feeling of freedom in counselees and the appearance of success for practitioners can lead to a great deal of confidence, but a forgetfulness regarding the ultimate trust in God’s grace will often disarm any fruit-bearing message. His advice is to keep in mind the difference between natural human struggles and those which come from the demonic realm while pursuing joy in the Lord.

Jim shares how recognizing the Holy Spirit’s work in truly bringing someone to freedom is more important than anything else, practically reviews or shares from a few written resources that he recognizes are beneficial in follow-up ministry, and observes the differences between different recovery group ministry offerings and their benefit for those who’ve experienced deeper healing or freedom from counseling endeavors.
