2.5 CE Credits for Satisfactory Completion: This is for 2.5 Continuing Education credits upon satisfactory completion. Participants must have purchased access to the conference, completed evaluation, and completed quiz with passing grade of 75% in order to receive a certificate. Failure to complete and submit these materials will result in forfeiture of credit for the entire course. No exceptions will be made. Partial credit is not available.

Learning Objectives

Session 1 – Your Bible, Your Brain, & Unseen Filters

Overview: The way we see the world—and even the way we read Scripture—is powerfully shaped by both our brains and the spiritual influences around us. Marcus Warner will explore how these unseen filters affect what we notice in the Bible and what we overlook. By learning to recognize these patterns, and by approaching Scripture through an attachment lens, you’ll discover fresh insights that can bring God’s Word to life in new ways. During the last half of the session, Marcus will interact with neurotheologian Jim Wilder further on this topic. With guidance from neuroscience and a deeper awareness of worldview, this session will help you encounter the Lord with greater clarity.

Participants will learn:

• How hidden filters can keep you from seeing the full richness of Scripture.
• What the dominant filter affecting most of evangelical Christianity is, and how it needs to be corrected.
• How looking at the Bible through an attachment lens can bring fresh discoveries and deepen your relationship with God

Session 2 – Your Bible, Your Brain, & Better Relationships

Overview: Could the way you connect with God & others be transformed by learning how God designed your brain? By seeing how neuroscience connects with faith, you’ll discover how to pray with deeper intimacy, and how to build relationships that are healthier and more joy-filled. The teaching and discussion with Marcus and Jim will help you learn to experience greater joy with God & His people.

Participants will learn:

• How insights from neuroscience can help you recognize common relational problems & discover helpful solutions.
• How to cultivate healthier, joy-filled relationships with the people around you.
• How to enjoy a more intimate connection with God.
