Understanding Breakthrough! is the introductory class experience and prerequisite for all other classes in the Deeper Walk School of Ministry.

You’ll be part of a live, online audience with Dr. Marcus Warner & Dawn Whitestone, MA LMHC. Over the course of 8-sessions of biblically balanced teaching, you’ll gain a clear understanding of the five engines than drive our emotions, and helpful tools and strategies designed to lead to breakthrough.
Interactive Practice
Each week you will have opportunity to discuss and practice what you are learning with fellow classmates in online breakout rooms. Discussing what you are learning in a relational environment will allow the learning to go much deeper, fostering significant growth in your walk with God.

- Readiness to learn and grow.
Course Details
- Classes will be held online each Monday for eight consecutive weeks, bringing together students and instructors in a live, interactive format.
- Through expert instruction, discussion with classmates and instructors, along with hands-on exercises, practical worksheets, and assessments, you'll be given the tools you need to implement what you are learning and track your progress.
- You will create a personalized plan for ongoing growth in life and ministry, with actionable steps for beyond your time in this class.
Meet Your INSTRUCTORS
Dr. Marcus Warner
He is a former pastor and college professor who has written several books on topics ranging from how to study the Bible to spiritual warfare, emotional healing, and leadership.
Marcus has done training events for organizations such as Navigators, Willow Creek Prison Ministry, and Moody Church. He has traveled the world with Deeper Walk, equipping people on the front lines of ministry with practical tools for dealing with root issues that keep people and ministries stuck and unable to go deeper into what God has for them.
Dawn Whitestone
FOUNDING DIRECTOR, DEEPER WALK SCHOOL OF MINISTRY (MA, LMHC)
Dawn serves as the Founding Director of the Deeper Walk School of Ministry. She is also the Founding Partner & Chief Growth Catalyst at WhiteStone Professionals. Her passion is growing people and organizations into their full potential.
Dawn has served as an executive coach, strategic planner, and training designer. Her unique approach to following God’s purposes and plans is captured in the book Strategic Business Prayer and its companion workbook.
Dawn’s zest for joyful living is rooted in a strong family, vibrant faith, and familiarity with suffering. Her personal experiences with divorce, grief, and family illness give her a compassion that undergirds her love for life and passion for people. Dawn fills her joy bucket loving her husband, volunteering in her church, and spending time with friends in Lakeland, Florida.

Hosted by Dr. Marcus Warner and Dawn Whitestone, MA, LMHC, this interactive online class helps you identify spiritual roadblocks, assess your strengths and weaknesses, and create a plan for growth. If you’re longing to experience a deeper connection with God and help others do the same, this course is for you.
You’ll meet live online for 2 hours each Monday over the 8-week course. In addition to the weekly class, plan for about 2-3 more hours per week to complete assignments. These include:
- Reading 1–2 chapters from the course book.
- Completing assessments and quizzes
- Participating in the student chat forum
In total, expect to spend around 2-3 hours per week outside the weekly meeting engaging with the course content and community.
